Taking a look around, Namine decided on sitting at a table outside a restaurant near the farris wheel. It had been a while since she’d made it too any events so one she heard about the new amusement park that just opened around her, she had to go. She just wished she’d had someone to take with her. Oh well, at least the view was nice. She decided to leave her sketch book at home for the first time ever, and she was already regretting it. She didn’t have a lot of extra money to spend so there wasn’t a lot she allowed herself to want to do. She had to budget herself otherwise she wouldn’t be able to eat the next day. At least school lunch would always be free for her.
After about ten minutes of sitting, Namine decided to explore the grounds. She got up and began to walk. She pasted many rides and many children bagging their parents for more money to play more games. She wished she could do that. Knowing your parents must’ve been nice. Oh well, she had a strong will and wasn’t going to let the thought of that ruin her day like it did many other times.
This place was beautiful. There were so many bright colors, great scenery, and tons of things to keep someone occupied: well, those with money of course. Since it was free to get in, this was defiantly a place she was going to come more often. Everything looked wonderful to draw. Next time, she’d be sure to bring her sketchbook. There were so many smiling faces here. It was the first place that she didn’t feel so depressed.
With the sun shinning bright and little humidity, the only thing that could make this day better would be having someone here to share it with. She had new acquaintances she could’ve asked to come, but she wasn’t sure how weird that would sound. She wanted to be on a friend level with them. Something like this might’ve been a perfect opportunity. To her disappointment, it was an opportunity that she had already missed.

The replica stretched his arms out above his head, producing a minute “crack” from the depths of his stiff body. Even having no real home of his own, it seemed like he did not move around much. How much of the city had he seen? It seemed that his present knowledge of his surroundings was limited to the bus stops and parks he slept in every night. Granted, sightseeing was hardly his number one issue. He still had his memory to worry about, as well as that strange duplicate of himself he had seen so long ago. But for the moment, he decided he would leave his confusion and paranoia behind and take a gander at a more colorful side of town.
And so Repliku found himself here, in an amusement park of some sort. He was not the sort of person who would be easily entertained by such things, but even he could not deny the uplifting aura that hovered about the place. The bright colors, the smiling people; it was a cartoon cliché paradise. The best part? He had gotten in for free. There were not many other ways he could have entered, really. He didn’t have any money. Thankfully, something like a theme park didn’t have tight security to keep amnesiac hobo-teens out. And so, with both of these factors in mind, he deftly hopped the lowest wall and treated himself.
Now, as he walked amongst the various attractions on this clear summer day, a familiar sensation over took Repliku; hunger. Considering his monetary situation, the feeling was beyond troublesome for him. He was certain that someone would be peddling food in a place like this, and so elected to find such sources and work out the rest later. He could probably lift someone’s wallet if he was careful. His eyes worked the crowds over for a moment before finally landing on someone. It was a blond girl roughly his age. He could not say why, but he found his gaze attracted to her. All else about him, for the briefest moment, seemed to disappear from this world. He did not understand what had overcome him, and so ignored it, but as they were about to cross paths Repliku spoke up.
“Excuse me, but do you know where they are selling food in this place?”

Namine looked at the guy who approached her. Her eyes bulged in shock. This boy looked EXTREMELY close to Riku, the boy from her school. He had that same silver hair and piercing eyes. The only reason she could tell that it wasn't Riku, is because she'd just seen Riku and his hair was longer. Plus, the boy was a bit shorter and looked about a year or two younger. Still, the resemblance was unbelievable. She wouldn't have even believed it herself if she wasn't standing right here. It was so strange. She wondered if Riku knew there was another guy who looked almost exactly like him. This was insane. Out of everything that happened to her in the past few days with her connection to Roxas and odd drawings, this topped everything. It was like there was a younger version of Riku running around. It was so strange to her that she couldn't stop thinking about it. Wow.
Namine decided it would probably be best to answer him instead of to keep starring as she was right now. From his point of view she probably seemed extremely rude and most likely crazy. Anyone would've acted this way though if they would've ran into a double of one of there acquaintances/friends.
"Actually, there's food places everywhere. You just have to really look. They hide them between most of the huge rides and game stands."
Namine forced a smile to overcome how freaked out she was and pointed off in the direction she came from. She remembered that she was sitting at that one restaurant before she started wondering around. It was a nice little place with a friendly owner. Still, she couldn't recommend any of their food though, because she was too broke to buy any of it.
"I think there's actually a food place in that direction."
She kept a smile on and forced herself not to blurt out how much he looked like Riku. That would be rude and awkward. He'd probably try to have her sent to a psychiatric ward. She wouldn't have blamed him either. She couldn't stop repeating how strange this was in her mind.
Namine wondered if she had someone that looked exactly like her some where in the world. That would be pretty awesome but scary at the same time. What if every one had a double? That would really be wicked. At this point, she considered anything possible. It made her think of two of every one of her teachers. That made her giggle in her head.

Though Repliku tried not to show it, the blond girl’s initial stare had started to get to him. Brief though it was, her eyes were the kind one might give to a ghost or the Loch Ness monster. What was that about? Had he asked a strange question? Maybe they told you were to buy edibles when you came in or something. Her gaze did not bug him so much as what had brought it around. He would have to see if he had something in his face or something.
In any case, the replica was relieved when the girl did finally respond to his query. He momentarily peered past her, down the path and toward where she was pointing. Nothing was really visible from where he stood, but that made sense; he was the one having trouble finding a place to grab a bite, after all. Even more humiliating was the fact that such sources of food were “everywhere”, which probably meant he had just been unobservant about the whole thing. His eyes flicked back to the girl, and he permitted a small smile of gratitude to cross his lips. “Alright, thanks.” The motion of his legs carried him past her, towards the place that could quell his hunger.
….except that he stopped after only a handful of steps, and turned back to face the girl who had guided him so. “Um….” The strangeness of the whole encounter, it seemed, was not something he could just let go of. “Is…..are you alright?” He was not sure how to phrase his question, and even then it came out a bit awkwardly. Still, he was sure something odd had crossed her mind the second she saw him. She had absolutely no obligation to answer him, but Repliku was more than a bit curious.

Namine starred at him and watched as he began to walk away. When he stopped again, she put up her guard. Something about him was making her uneasy. It wasn't that she thought he was dangerous, but she could never be to sure. He was practically a walking Riku double and that freaked her out a bit.
She wanted to answer him with an Of course something is wrong! You look, talk, and, from what I can tell so far, act exactly like Riku from my school! That is just not natural! Are you even human? Are you the devil in disguise? Are you one of those freaky ghost things?! Where did you come from?! Who are your parents?! Are you related to him in any way?! Perhaps a twin brother or maybe even a clone?! Knowing it might not go over to well, she held all of that in. She didn't want to come off as pushy and even more crazy then her first stare at him.
"No, um," Namine took a deep breath. "Nothing is wrong."
Of course, that was a lie. It'd be obvious to anyone who knew her by her mortified face expression. She tried to shake it off, but it wouldn't go away. Oh well, maybe he would think he face muscles always made her look like this. She could only hope.
As freaked out as she was, she couldn't let this guy go. It was too weird, and Namine just had to find out more. Maybe if she was not to pushy, he'd tell her more. She just had to make sure she could stick around with him until she found out a little more. It was a little bit sneaky, but what else could she do?
"How about I show you were the nearest place to eat is?"
Namine had asked, but she was almost regretting her words. Wouldn't this guy think it was weird that a complete stranger wanted to hang around him? At least it wasn't as weird as just flat out telling him the truth. That would be odd. It would defiantly make things awkward.
