((Your post was great, and mines is good as I can make it.))
Roxas sighed as she spoke so downtrodden, much like someone who had been beaten into submission over the hopelessness of a situation. Though he couldn't blame her, that feeling was like ice on his skin, no matter how much heat and sun warmed his skin, he would not forget the feeling of abandonment he went through his first few months on his own. Life was difficult, with no maternal figure, no fatherly figure, who was he to look up to when he needed a good pep talk?
Who would tuck him in when the tide roared at him from the calm and serene ocean? Where in the world were they in his hour of need? No where, that was where, so he took in all that suppressed pain that kept him up at nights, dry of tears and let one fall briefly. Wiping it from his eye he looked at Namine with a heart felt look, one that let her know that he was with her on this bench, not just a figment that was illusionary.
"I know this will sound too philosophical," he said, "but, dealing with pain is the best way to move on with life. Memories of my parents still linger in me, and though I ponder on their meanings for not finding me, I have not done so much to find them on my own...not to the extreme. What I'm trying to say is, if you're willing to try and move on, much like you said, then I'll be with you every step of the way."
Roxas wore a beaming smile, at the moment overbearing on the drowning sorrow that would take over his face. Slap some tap on him and his smile was like a bridge on its last leg. There was no one to talk to about this at school, his boss at work was too busy to listen, while the kids he dealt with on a bully level, didn't have the depth to comprehend what he was saying.
When Namine took her sketchpad and set it on his lap he looked closely at what she described as scribbles. What surprised him was the clearness of the scribbles, they resembled figures he had seen in his dream. One seemed to have red hair, and as he placed his hand on it he tried to bring up an image, anything, but nothing came.
"This is great Namine," he said, "the way you draw, it is much better then you make it sound. And yeah, the way you drew this, it is almost as if you had a foresight of my coming here, funny huh? If I'm the blond haired one with nice hair, who are the other figures you have drawn here?" Roxas indicated the other figures, his hand gently brushing against her own.

(Yours was great too. Better, actually. lol) Paying close attention to Roxas, Namine noticed the tear fall from Roxas’s eye, and her first thought was wondering if she had upset him in some way. That was most certainly the very last thing she wanted to do. It fell before not wanting to creep him out. When he began to talk, her heart cooled down a little, knowing that it wasn’t her making him cry. The way Roxas spoke made her feel like she actually mattered to him. She hoped that was the case, because in this short time, she’d already started to care about him. Actually, she didn’t just start too: she did care about him a lot even if she did just meet him. “You don’t know how much that means to me…” Namine spoke, referring too how he said he’d be there for her every step of the way. When Roxas gave her that smile, she felt like her insides just melted. It was the sweetest smile anyone had ever given her, and it meant something to her. She didn’t know if his smile to her was real or not, but she didn’t care. For the moment, it was nice to have some one look at her like that. It seemed perfect to her. She smiled a little, but made sure it didn’t seem to strong. She didn’t want her happiness to seep through too much. She just didn’t feel so alone anymore was all. Namine watched closely as Roxas looked over her sketch of all the random and strange figures. He seemed to be particularly interested in the figure with the long, whisky, red hair. It was kind of funny to her how that was the one he was stuck on for a short moment. That was the one she always drew the figure that resembled him near. In all of her drawings, they seemed to be really close friends. There was obviously a connection between them in her drawings. When Roxas’s question came up, she struggled to find a way to answer it. She had no idea who all the people in her picture were. She just…drew them. There was no reason or no inspiration aside from maybe a dream or two. They were just there. They kept reappearing again and again in everything she drew. Her pencil must’ve just had a mind of its own. “I’m not sure who they are,” Namine let out a small giggle to herself, knowing how weird that must’ve sounded. “I just draw them a lot.”

((Well, I guess we both did good in the long run.))
Roxas nodded his head, glad he could help Namine out. In a world of billions, or so he thought, being lonely was a cruel way to go about life. Everyone had a soul mate, at least he believed so, they just had to open their eyes and see them for themselves. It was through that, Roxas knew he wouldn't be lonely forever. Far be it for him to be a nobody in a pool of pairings all around him.
While listening to his mp3, he couldn't afford a ipod, he found one of his favorite artists were Nickleback. The artist had a rough and scratchy voice, and yet a powerful beat that made it far from boring or rap like in content.
The song that usually made his heart soar was the song, 'Gotta be somebody', a song that depicted the life of someone searching for that one. Music heightened the bad in his life, so he could bring it down with brimming hope and wonder. To feel, to have his heart beat every time he heard Namine take a breath, it was like a feeling he had never felt before. Namine deserved to have someone look out for her, to care if she was alone or not, far be it for him to just leave her here...and never see her again, that would be wrong...and wrong all over again.
The park was the best social place in the city. While most met in diners or crowded grounds, the park offered enough space to allow conversations to take place, in a secluded area, or from an observative spot. The thrill he got from skateboarding and his thrill in pulse to be with Namine, were almost the same. Watching her speak, was like catching some air, listening to her breath was a board flip, oh he could go on about the comparisons and still be feeling deep feelings for this girl.
Looking down again at the drawing, he tried to discern why the man in black with red hair meant something to him. Was he perhaps an uncle he hadn't seen in a year? Was he a friend he fell out of contact with after being separated from his family? Then there was the boy, the one with brown spiky hair and nearly cheerful disposition. Namine had no idea who they were, she just drew them. She had a talent alright, Roxas thought with a light smile.
"You know, if that is the case, perhaps you have a gift Namine. I mean, you were able to draw me, and we just met today. Every little thing in life has a purpose, one that will eventually explain itself...or drawing more might trigger something. You draw them Namine...I believe not from inspiration in the world around you...but would you believe from your...er...I had it a second ago." Roxas laughed as he moved his hand, not knowing he had placed it right on top of hers.

Namine couldn’t help but let out a small laugh as Roxas laughed himself. Although to most it might seem like gibberish, Namine knew exactly what Roxas was talking to her about. As nonsense as it might sound, it was as if all of his words just danced into her ears. He sounded so perfect to her. She couldn’t even began to describe it to anyone much less herself. All she knew was that she liked this feeling of belonging and she wanted it to stay with her forever. She knew they’d have to depart for the day sometime, and she hoped she’d be able to see him again. She decided not to think about that right now. It would only cause sorrow.
Although the boy with the blonde hair in her picture looked like Roxas, she still wouldn’t let herself fully believe it was. Like the kids at school told her, this was not a fantasy world. Magical moments like this just didn’t exist no matter how hard one believed. Still, it was a pretty good resemblance. Plus, it was a huge coincidence that the colors she chose matched perfectly to Roxas’s actually colors. Namine had even chosen the exact shade blue, remarkably close to her own, for his eyes.
“This is just so strange,” Namine spoke, looking up at him. “Does it sound ridiculous to say today seems like destiny? I mean, with how close the drawing is to you and what-not…”
Namine stopped herself from talking, because she felt as if she was blabbering once again. She couldn’t help but keep the smile on her face. It wouldn’t wipe off her face no matter how hard she tried. Finally, she gave in and just let herself be happy for the moment. She felt like all of her lonely days and boredom deserved some times like this. They were far overdue. She use to wonder if she even knew how to smile.
Looking down, Namine noticed Roxas’s hand on top of hers. Her cheeks flushed a little. Although a few minutes ago she would’ve decided against her next action, she just decided to take the risk. Namine intertwined her finger with Roxas’s to hold his hand in hers. She looked up at him, sort of blushing. She was almost now regretting this and she hoped it was okay. She didn’t know weather to keep talking or not. It was nerves that decided for her, and their decision was to freeze up.

Roxas shook his head as he looked at Namine. "No Namine, it doesn't sound weird in the least to me. For you see, my very thoughts while sitting here with you were lingering on the very serendipity, a chance or coincidence of meeting someone. I wasn't heading this way, and yet I chose to come here believing it would be a faster way to my destination. Had I for some reason or another, decided to take my usual route, our meeting would not have happened. For your drawing, and the significance of that figure looking like me, I'm quite baffled, and partially mystified by it.
Most people your age wouldn't be able to draw so clearly, on someone that had just appeared in your life, even though this drawing depicting me is in fact several minutes or so before my said arrival. No matter what you call it, destiny, serendipity, you are getting the same piece of the puzzle plastered or pretty much taped onto cardboard." Roxas told her as he took a breath. All those words indeed had came out a bit jumbled, but just being in the company of Namine made him realize he could tackle the hardest problems, and talk for the life of him over and over until he was a broken record.
Continuing to look at her, he noticed how her hand was now laced in his. Laughing nervously he almost pulled off a cheap imitation of Goofy from all those Disney movies. Placing his other hand over his mouth he tried to make it seem like it came out accidentally. This was moving, like some scene in a movie that had the two lovers twined forever, leaning closer to completing that aww like moment.
Adjusting his seat so he was looking at her he gave her hand a gentle squeeze, making sure to let her know not to panic or fret about where her hand was. If this was their destiny, to be together, someone knew what they were doing.
"Namine, I, well, you have a soft hand," Roxas blurted out. Looking away for a second he scolded himself for sounding so corny. She was probably expecting something romantic, or, confirming those thoughts in her head, not that he could read them. Think Roxas, he thought, you've seen chick flicks, what is it the guy says while holding the girl's hand?
"Namine, I know this is sudden, but us being here today, has made me feel sure, positive, that some other life of ours...we were together. Now I'm not sure if it was the us as of now, but, this connection isn't...normal. Um, what I mean to say is, by normal I mean...well...I sound like a babbling idiot don't I?" Roxas said with a light laugh.

Namine listened intently as Roxas spoke about how her drawing meant something. Now she really was beginning to believe it did. This could not just be a huge coincidence. This had to be fate. Things like this meeting with Roxas didn't just happen. Some outside force pushed them to happen. She was beginning to feel like something wanted her here. Something edged her decision in the direction of coming here this morning instead of going to the mall to look around like she was planning on. She was beginning to think that she may have gone a little mad. She always thought deep, but not like this. This was far beyond anything that would've ever hit her mind before today.
"I guess you're right," Namine spoke with a soft face.
If both her and Roxas were truly connected before the amnesia incident, she wondered what happened to them. Did they get amnesia from the same thing or was it something different? And how exactly were they connected? Was is just close friends or more? When did they first meet? How many years or months had they known each other? So many questions were going through her mind and she wished she could just shut them all up so she could truley enjoy what was happening right now.
As Namine sat there holding Roxas's hand, she felt safe. It was like nothing in the world was going to get to her. This was the greatest feeling of belonging she had yet. When Roxas gave her hand a slight squeeze, Namine felt her heart skip a beat. That was something that never happened to her before. She looked at him with red cheeks again. This was the most she'd ever blushed. Namine felt someone less nervous when Roxas made the comment about her hand and she let out a soft laugh.
"Thank you..." she spoke. "You're hand feels...nice."
Namine smiled, but realized she sounded even cornier then him. Her corniness was dumb, but Roxas's corniness was cute and funny. There was something about him that made everything sound perfect. How could a boy like this ever be alone? He should have tons of friends and girls all over him. He was just so....well, wonderful to be around.
Namine smiled and responded to him, "You don't sound like an idiot. I think you may be right though... I feel like I know you already." She paused for a moment. "I know we knew each other before. There is just no other way that I'd feel this close to you."
She felt like her words were getting cornier by the moment, but she didn't care. This was how she really felt, and she didn't believe Roxas would make fun of her for it. He was too kind. If he was a link to her past, then she wanted to be closer to him.

Roxas smiled as he looked at Namine. The way the two of them talked on about their hands was just great. It felt like she used a lot of hand lotion, or cream, that made her hand so smooth, he bet that she could escape any who dare try and hold her back. After all that talking, he felt his throat was dry. Now he had two conclusions when it came to that area. One was that he had been speaking so much, that he had lost the capacity to continue talking non stop.
The other he believed came from the fact that spending so much time with Namine already had caused his vocals to shut down, on account of him actually liking her. Roxas had never liked a girl before, if he had crushed on a girl at school, she wouldn't give him a chance, he knew it. Girls at school were models, they tended to pose as a friend or interest, but always in the background those bulbs of light called photography, a.k.a. friends revealed who they really were.
He felt lucky to just have this moment with Namine, instead of hang out at school only to have someone interrupt. It was prone to happen, he had seen it happen to the best couples. I wonder if we were a couple in another life, he thought, perhaps that goes along with what she said, I mean, to just meet here and not even think about that is crazy. Roxas grinned and then and scooted so close that their hips were pressing against one another.
"Yeah, question remains though how we would know each other. I figure if our amnesia is the same, as in month and time, perhaps we can trail it back...gain some memory of who we are. It is the only plausible reasoning behind our meeting here. If not to just hang out, become something great, it is to solve this mystery. The first clue to our having some connection lies in your drawings, yes those, for they were drawn with some insight. Perhaps you could try now, again, to summon up an image from your memory.
Drawing is your talent, it is your gift, if these drawings do not scream talent, then I frankly do not know what I am talking about. Though, if you need some inspiration, I'll be sure to lend you some."
Roxas took a breath as he turned his head slightly, looking at the held beauty before him. Leaning in he gave Namine a soft peck on the lips, nothing too invading, and only enough inviting, for what he hoped as for things to come. Pulling back he opened his eyes, having not even known they were close, showing the blue sparkling pupils. He never knew he would initiate a kiss, and he figured that, and only a guess, but he had never kissed a girl before.

“My drawings?”
Namine thought about it for a minute. That would be the way to go if they were going to tackle the mystery of their paths. At this point, she had almost no doubt that the boy in the picture was Roxas. It had to be him. She didn’t know of anyone else that looked like that. If that was Roxas, were the people she drew linked to her or were they linked to him? She never really drew herself in the picture except for once of twice. Every time she did draw herself, it was on a white sheet. She never was able to come up with anything else on the white sheet. It was blank. She always thought about drawing someone with her, but it was like her hand wouldn’t move to do so.
“Yeah, I’ve got plenty more drawings like these at home,” she told.
It was true. Her walls were covered in her drawings. It was a good thing she lived alone or she would probably drive her roommates insane. They wouldn’t like scribbles all over the wall. They might consider it a waste of trees. The thing she called art, most just called it by the name of boring. That was another reason she didn’t have any friends. No one wanted to hang out with someone who was always doing nothing but drawing. It bore them to death.
When Roxas leaned in to give her that peck, Namine’s emotions ran wild. When he did give it to her, she felt as if everything inside of her heart just exploded all at once in a massive bomb fire. She had never been kissed before. Even if the kiss wasn’t much, it was still a kiss to her. It was more then that. It was her first kiss with a boy she’d possibly just met or possibly known for a long time. Namine was blushing wildly, and she couldn’t think of a thing to say.
